There is an extra layer of burden on underserved communities and those with less access to resources when you add layers of powdery white snow. It does make you stop and begin to think about how we can provide equal access to snow days.

More black people never learned how to swim because they weren’t allowed to do so. Although it has affected the rate at which black people learned how to swim, it never stopped them.
